BEAT THE HEAT AND PROTECT THE INSIDE OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS WITH OUTSIDE AWNINGS AND BLINDS
Our North Queensland sun packs an extreme punch due to our high UV and intense heat. Many things deteriorate much quicker up here than anywhere else in Australia. So it only makes sense that you need to protect anything inside your home or business from sun. 87% of heat enters inside the home and business through the glass. Covering these areas will help to cool your home naturally and protect all of your furnishings inside.
Sun and glare are a couple of the main factors that contribute to fading and deterioration. Install Awnings to stop the sun and glare from entering through the glass. Inside blinds can only do so much and will need protection themselves.
Heat is another major factor with deterioration. If you close up your home and go to work, then come home at the end of the day. It is like an oven inside and if you have the sun hitting on the glass of your home all day, this will add to the heat factor. It is not just the direct sun and glare that causes problems it is the heat as well. Did you know that when the sun hits your glass the temperature directly in behind the glass is double what it is outside. This heat then radiates back into the home and business. Internal blinds can not stop heat as the heat has already entered the home.
Come in and talk to us about Outside Awnings and Blinds to stop the heat.
Side Channel Rollerblinds can be used for many different situations. Using a Blockout Fabric will create a full blockout blind giving you excellent light and sun control. Because the bottom rail visits inside the side channels it will not move and flap around with the breeze. Side Channel Rollerblnids also work great in media rooms where you need complete light and sun block during the day to really appreciate a good movie. Do your children wake up with the roosters at the crack of day, then think about what our Side Channel Rollerblinds will do to give you a few more hours of sleep.
